Travellers affected by the expected South African Airways (SAA) strike from tomorrow, who have also taken out Hollard Travel insurance, will be covered.
SAA has announced that it has cancelled all local and international flights on 15 and 16 November, in response to the strike. It says it will reimburse customers, reschedule their flights or find seats for them on other carriers’ aircraft. Changing flights is not the only concern as travellers would have booked accommodation, etc. to be in line with their original flight itinerary. (more…)
