Stonehage Fleming appoints a non-executive Board member in South Africa

Stonehage Fleming has recently welcomed Vincent Zwelibanzi Mntambo to the Stonehage Fleming family as a non-executive Board member.

Mntambo has a very impressive resume bolstered by an LLM degree from Yale and an LLB from the University of the North West. After qualifying as a lawyer, he chose to become a lecturer in his field of study for several years at many universities. He went on to be the Executive Director at the Independent Mediation Services of SA (IMSSA) where he practised as a Mediator and Arbitrator; additionally, he founded the Community and Political Mediation Service at IMSSA.

Following his career as Director General of Gauteng from 1995-1998, he co-founded several organisations including Eyesizwe Mining and Exxaro Ltd, which is listed on the JSE. Currently, Mntambo serves as director and chairman of Mainstreet 333, Dreamvision Investments, GRW Holdings and Moabi Capital and previously served as a trustee of the Paleontological Scientific Trust.
