President Wayne Hiller van Rensburg welcomed standing and new members of the Institute of Retirement Funds Association (IRFA) Board of Directors at an induction and planning session earlier this year.
Wayne notes that “the level of expertise, willingness, passion and commitment to the retirement industry and society reflected in our Board line-up is both humbling and valued. This is a fine team who will make a huge contribution to the retirement landscape, both in South Africa and the rest of Africa and it is a great privilege to work with this dedicated volunteer group.”
Wayne says that key focus will be placed on governance, industry support and outreach to retirement fund members, pensioners and society in general as the industry body moves forward.
