A2X announces J.P. Morgan as latest broker to trade

A2X Markets, the licensed stock exchange and secondary listing venue, has announces that J.P. Morgan Equities South Africa (Pty) Ltd has commenced trading on its platform, further strengthening the market for South African securities.

J.P. Morgan has a long-standing presence in South Africa and remains focused on growing its business in the market. From Johannesburg and Cape Town, the firm serves clients through its Commercial & Investment Bank businesses.

With J.P. Morgan now trading on the platform, A2X’s members represent 85% of trades in listed securities executed in South Africa. J.P. Morgan joins an existing network of brokers on A2X, including Peresec Prime Brokers, RMB Morgan Stanley, and SBG Securities.

A2X is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and the Prudential Authority (SARB) under the Financial Markets Act. A2X has been operational since October 2017.
