Mergence makes new hires

Mergence Investment Managers has made three new hires to bolster both the Listed Investments team and the Unlisted Investments team.

Lulama Qongqo

Luluma Qongqo has been appointed as an Equity Investment Analyst. She has an Honours degree majoring in Economics from Rhodes University (2015).

Robert Dixon

Robert (Bobby) Dixon has been appointed as Institutional Equity Trader. He has a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours in Finance) degree from UCT (2008). He is also a Level 1 CFA.

Sumaya Aziz

Sumaya Aziz has been appointed as Unlisted Credit Analyst. She has a BCom Honours (Investment Management) in 2011 from the University of Pretoria. She is also a Level 1 CFA.

Commenting on the appointments, Fabian de Beer, Director: Investments at Mergence Investment Managers, said: “Mergence is on a rapid growth path and these new hires will serve to boost our capabilities across the investment spectrum – listed and unlisted.
