STANLIB appoints new portfolio manager for Namibia money market funds

STANLIB has reinforced the expertise of its asset management team with the appointment of Sade Gertze as a portfolio manager for the STANLIB Namibia Money Market and CashPlus Funds.

In a statement, STANLIB says: “The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority has approved the appointment. The appointment reflects STANLIB’s commitment to invest in people and develop key skills within the jurisdictions where we operate.”

Sade joined STANLIB Namibia from NMG Consultants and Actuaries, where she was a financial analyst and investment consultant. She holds a BCom (Economics and Finance) from the University of Cape Town and is a CFA Charterholder.

Sade will be reporting to Victor Mphaphuli and Ansie van Rensburg.

“We believe she will make a positive contribution to our award-winning fixed income team,” STANLIB adds.
