Nelis and Elke Brink (brother and sister) have been appointed to the management team of PSG Wealth Employee Benefits Route 21, Pretoria, one of the top employee benefits offices in the PSG adviser network, as directors. The office is owned and run by Nelis and Elke’s parents, Neels and Nerine Brink. Nelis and Elke will head up the firm’s expanded financial planning offering.
“Growing up in a family with both parents in the financial services industry, I think we both had a passion for it from day one,” Elke comments. “It’s the only thing we know and it’s an extremely fulfilling career. Therefore, we are proud to be joining the management of the office and continue our family legacy.”
Nelis, who started his career at Momentum as a consultant, has been working as a financial adviser for seven years. He has a B.Com in Business Management from the University of Pretoria, as well as a CFP post graduate diploma from the University of the Free State.
Elke, who launched her career with PSG’s Learner Financial Adviser program, has been working as a financial adviser in the Route 21 office for 3 years. She holds a B.Com in Financial Planning and Investment Management from the University of Stellenbosch and a CFP post graduate diploma from the University of the Free State.
“With this move, we’re adding a young dynamic into our team,” says Neels Brink, co-principal with Nerine Brink, of the Route 21 office. “Nelis and Elke will be focussing on sharpening our office’s financial planning offerings and will be able to carry the business forward for many years to come.”
With over 700 advisers in more than 200 offices across South Africa and Namibia, PSG boasts the largest network of independent advisers in the country. The Route 21 office has won the Employee Benefits Practice of the Year award at the PSG Annual Conference for five consecutive years.
