UBS CIO upgrades South African equities as market nears trough

UBS Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office (CIO) has upgraded South African stocks from underweight to neutral within its emerging market equity portfolio. CIO believes the market could rally on positive political news, including around the upcoming ANC elections in December. Average equity valuations also look relatively inexpensive. (more…)
