GDP in the first quarter of 2016 falls by 1.2%

1Q16 GDP growth disappointed by some margin, contracting by –1.2% q/q and –0.2% y/y. The main culprits were agriculture (-6.5%), mining (-18.1%) and the transport, storage and communications sector (-2.7%). (more…)
